I had my rating to day and it was 30% . I had a 3 level fusion and I have drop foot . I did not get a rating for my foot . I had to get my gas pedal moved to the left of the brake. My restricktion are sedentary . Just wondering sould my rating be more. Thanks for any help. Dr. said the leg pain I would just have to live with. He released me today. He gave me the scrip for the gas pedtal today .It has been 10 months out from my surgery. Thanks again.
 
Jackpate im not sure what drop foot is but i had a L-3 L-4 Spinal fusion and am a Year out also.If it help's my Doc gave me a 20% disability rating in which my Lawyer thought was GOOD!!!
 
Have you had an MRI or CT scan lately? Maybe something isn't right. I had a fusion 9 months ago and never got better. I kept demanding that something was not right, but no one listened. My surgeon said I would be one of those people who was left in chronic pain forever. I am 28 and refused to accept that. I went to another surgeon last fall and he ordered the tests I needed. As I suspected, I need a 2 level fusion and am having it next week. I learned that my first surgeon is incompetent. I had to call there to get my recorRAB, and ended up telling the nurse what was going on because part of me wanted the old surgeon to know. They ended up calling me later (after talking to the surgeon), and wanted me to come back and see him. Of course I wouldn't. The thing is, another level of my spine was found to be in bad shape before my first surgery, but the surgeon thinks "discograms are bogus and it doesn't look that bad to me", so he left it to just get worse.
 
does any one know how to get an mri free i have no health ins and am in constant pain and need current proof to get ssi i can hardly work im in pain from the base of my skull to my toes i just want a clear pic of my back and hip to show the bad discs and the extent of the ostio arthritus that is cutting into my spine.
