the three channels were given to me by the sales rep I talked to on the phone as well as confirmed in the self serve tools through bell in the channel listings. the reason for this as given by the phone rep was due to new programming to be added in the coming months.

Our apologies for the incorrect information, but I have confirmed that there will be 6 MLB HD channels this year.

I went into our self serve application on our guide, and I can't find any info on MLB. Did you see this recently? Did you use the self serve portal at ch.275?

Thanks.

OK the guide is showing Red Sox vs Baltimore on 1406. Now 20 minutes past the hour and still no Red Sox in HD. Come on Bell, give us Sportsnet East in HD and leave it on!

is anyone watching the Tigers / Royals game right now? (The FS Royals Feed?) Will Ferrell is there with a few other comedians and his solution to the Galarraga problem is " Galarraga should quit, that should be MLB's solution to this problem, not video replay"

I couldn't stop laughing because I'm sure Bud Selig wishes that would happen instead of dealing with the whole replay situation in baseball.

no. self serve through bell.ca in my account. in TV, you can now access and view programming for speciality sports. i confirmed in there the MLB EI HD would be channels 881-883

thanks for letting us know. makes me much happier right now to know that there will indeed be six channels again this year. I lucked out last year and was able to get about 70% of the Detroit Tigers games in HD last year and look forward to it again this year.

Cheers

There is going to be a free preview of MLB Extra Innings Starting Monday June 14 and ending Sunday June 20 on Channels 485 to 497 SD and Channels 1481 to 1486 HD.

I'm watching the Tigers / Mariners game right now and its the Seattle feed... anyone know who the commentators are in Seattle? The old guy is wheezing while doing play by play and its freaking me out in Surround Sound... so distracting

I'm new to Bell and just bought the mid season EI package. Is there a reason we get surround sound on the Sportsnet channels for the Jays games but not for the HD MLB channels?

Thanks again topherpaquette, we will track this down and get it fixed.

Enjoy the season (and having Johnny Damon patroling your outfield).

Very upset with this. The game was in HD on every other service that offers Rogers Sportsnet but Bell for some reason offers every Sportsnet except Sportsnet East for some reason...

Bell after the first couple of days of having the majority in the games in HD has dropped the ball somewhat today

Cards/Reds - Not in HD
Pirates/Dodgers - In HD
Toronto -Texas in HD
Tigers/KC - In HD
Mariners/A's - Not in HD
Indians/White Sox - In HD
Phillies/Nations - In HD
Marlins/Mets - in hd
Cubs/Braves - Not In HD
Rays/Orioles - Not In HD
Angels - Twins Not In Hd

6/11, Not good enough imo, Considering the fact I KNOW for a fact that the Mariners/A's, Angels/Twins, Rays/Orioles and Cards/Reds hd broadcasts are available

The seattle comentators are Dave Kneehouse and Mike Blowers I think Kneehouse is spelt wrong though. Dave looks like he is about 90. Mike Blowers is a former Seattle Mariner third baseman

Yeah, the Seattle guy was sounding like he was taking his dying breath.....but they seemed to have replaced him by the 3rd inning, because I am sure someone else was doing the play-by-play beside Mike Blowers when I flipped back to that game. It was really annoying to listen to Lenny Wilkens in the broadcast booth rather than the game.....I hate it when they interview non-baseball people during the game.

How long before the early bird deal ends??

does any one know the reg price, once the early bird ends?

Ah i see, well that's actually pretty impressive considiring that if you count the Habs/Canes game on TSN tonight, 8 of the 10 NHL games are in HD.

I could be wrong but i don't remember bell having this many HD games on one weekday night in the last couple of months

Nevermind. Must depend on the feed because some of tonight's games appear to have it.

It's Niehaus and he is a hall of famer. He does the first three innings on TV with Mike Blowers and the last six innings on Mariners radio with Rick Rizz. Dave Sims takes over for him on TV in the 4th. He is old but he whizzes like that because he suffered a stroke two years ago. I love him having grown up a Mariners fan but I admit it can be distracting but that said Dave Sims is terrible so I would take the whizzing or heavy breathing any day.

Does anyone else have mlb extra innings still? I am watching the Nationals/Royals game but the freeview was suppose to end yesterday?
