Hi all,
I ordered my thermostat from Halfords based on the Reg plate of my car.
I have it in the box and it is the mechanical thermostat I am used to.
However, when I have searched around the web I have seen people mentioning that the thermostat is built into the housing on the mk3 - so i'm concerned Halfords have not given me the correct part..
is this true, or can the thermostat be separated from the housing?
I don't want to go through the process to realise I have the wrong part!
