Mixing Rock/Metal with Classical: should not be done

The band 'YES' is the most influenced rock band by classical music, In my opinion. Of course I think that the Beatles were also influenced by classical music.
 
the most efficient method is to make a mix on your computer, put all the files in a folder and then use winrar or something to compress it and make it into a zipfile. Then you could send it through AIM or upload it or something. Winrar is shareware that you can download (just find it through google) and then you right click on it and select "add to archive". That gives you a file you can send. Jeez that sounRAB complicated. Maybe someone else knows another way? I don't want it to be a hassle for ya.
 
That, I liked. But it was a classic piece.

Still, that = good.

Something in imitation of that but with cookie monster vocals on top: odd.

Something in imitation of that but with full vibrato operatic vocals: absurd.
 
Explain yourself. There's got to be a large difference between something that is supposed to sound like Bach on speed, and something that is supposed to rock out but MIGHT have some classical influence.

I'm talking about this neo-classical stuff.
