Missionaries, do you understand that proselytism is an insult towards people of...

...different religions? I know that you're doing what you believe to be right but you are spreading a clear message towards people having different beliefs.
In my opinion missionarism should be made illegal, what are your opinions?
@Peach

Which country? I live in eastern Europe.
@Ben Eibhinn traipseman

We actually discourage people from converting to Judaism.
@Peach

That was just mean lol, I'll refrain from judging all americans on the account of one idiot.
@kaz716

I'll give you that atheists can be as closed minded as any fundamentalist christian.
@dryBri lost his account for saying a bad word

I think you don't know what you're talking about, if you really are Jewish you should understand what I'm talking about here.

Of course, you're right. Missionaries go into areas where the people already have a belief system that works fine for them, and they have the nerve to tell them they're all wrong, that some god they've never heard of is sending them to a terrible place they've never heard of if they don't convert
And, Peach, you're obviously a very close-minded person. Any relation to someone named Fireball?

So you think people should be forced to believe in the religion of their parents, I take it. I think we are not just clones of our parents, and theirs to brainwash according to their own beliefs. People should have freedom to make their own choices. People convert to Judaism as well in some places. Would you not allow them to become Jews?

i feel the same. though i was talking to my JW aunt yesterday and she said she usually leaves religious people alone and only really tries to convert atheists and such
