Hi guys saw mission impossible 1 for the 1st ttimel ast night and just could not get in to it. I didnt think it was good and throughtit was a overrated movied not going to watch the 2nd and 3 one becasue i think there b poor too what did you lot think of it. I think a fourth one is coming out soon

Personally I loved the 1st one:D(can't see what you can find confusing about it?),number 2 wasn't too bad and 3 was jj abrams entertaining us all. Will see 4 when it comes out too

The first film does require a bit of attention .
The second film was a dreadful ego trip by John Woo ,bears little resemblance to the MI format and is best avoided unless you are into stupid stunts in slow motion with white doves all over the place

The third film is directed by Mr Alias/Lost Abrams and follows the annoying Alias habit of starting off with a climactic moment of the story then as it gets to the good bit we suddenly go "48 hours earlier".

However its a great action film and with the 3 films available in a Bluray boxset for

I remember going to see the first in the cinema the first time round and to this day it's still my favourite out the three. The second one was just 'Notorious' with Tom Cruise flexing his ego for an hour and a half and the third one was more of a return to form. As a twisty old school spy thriller you can't do too wrong with the first Mission Impossible

I think the first one is a good movie, and much maligned.

Confusing? I really don't know why people say this...but then again perhaps I do...

Problem is, it comes packaged as a typical Cruise, brainless summer blockbuster, and a lot of the audience just expect to sit there and let it wash over them, and not have to think about it.

Effectively, a lot of people simply switch their brains off. And by the time they realise there is actually a plot to follow, it's too late. If you don't get what is going on in that first twenty minutes, then you are going to spend the rest of the movie in confusion.

Plus, did anyone really think Brian De Palma was going to make conventional action movie?

I thought the second was dreadful, the third somewhat better...but the first one still stanRAB as a pretty good movie for me.

HI does anyone know when the fouth is gonig to come out?? Next summer maybe? If i am right didnt the 2nd movie break lots of recorRAB? I remmber it doing very well

Just wanted to know. I did not think they were that great cant beilve there will be 4 movies of them just because i dont like them does not mean they are bad movies

from what i can think of, MI 1 was lots of special effects which were a bit silly
copter in tunnel? purleez ;)

MI 2 i enjoyed, thought it was done very cinematically, and fairly epic, etc

MI 3 didnt think much of the first time i saw it, but quite liked seeing it 2nd and 3rd time. It's not too over the top, but has clever moments and is done a bit more subtly and personally
