Missing calls and texts

How many people here dont get texts randomly and when people call it tells them you aren't available?

mine apparently does this all the time i have g1 running cyan's newest rom and it sucks when you miss things like this

and on a side note

my gmail never notifies me i always have to check it and press refresh >.<

these things are driving me insane

I haven't had any of those problems as for Gmail do you have sync turned off

Blame your service provider not your phone.

well thats true i do have the sync off

and it could be the service provider but i never had missed texts with just a regular flip phone, i think some apps mess it up

i know when i play gang wars i dont get alerts from texts so everytime im done playing i have to check texts just incase

For the phone calls part, if you are not on 3g and you are using data you will not get phone calls
