I was so surprised when I found out that the gal that plays Miss Pettigrew is the same gal that was Miss Clavel in the live-action Madeline movie :lol:
 
Really! :sigh: But I guess then there wouldn't be a movie :lol:

It's an adorable movie with real heart and Lee Pace is absolutely smashing in it. I fall in love with him every time I watch this movie.
 
I adore this film! It never fails to cheer me up when I feel lonely/depressed about being single. Plus Lee Pace is so hot! I saw this on the big screen & every time he smiled I melted! Then, when he sang, that just about finished me off! I'm still trying to figure out why the heck it took Delysia so freaking long to decide he was the right guy for her, as it was no competition really! Amy Adams' outfits were stunning too-I love the fashion from the 30's, 40's & 50's.
Frances' & Ciaran's onscreen relationship was so beautiful to watch too, definitely a Cinderella for adults!
I also liked that there were some genuinely funny moments & some clever shots (the eponymous character smoking the cigar, Delysia exiting the bath & echoing The Birth of Venus painting)...
 
Awww, I loved this movie! It was adorable. :sigh: And so funny. I loved Amy Adams, but I also loved Frances McDormand in this performance. :love:
 
Love this movie! It's just so charming and lovely.

I remember when Amy Adams went on Letterman to promote this movie. He was so in love with her and kept talking about how great the movie was. He normally isn't like that so it was fun to see him fawning all over not only Amy but the movie also.
 
awww, such a cute movie! michael and delysia are lovely, and lee pace was especially handsome in this :love:
