Misery - kathy bates

i have been watching this film Misery on dvd and i love it. I think Kathy Bates is awesome in it and does anyone know if there is going to be a remake of this film? it be cool if they did a remake.

They might as well do one, they are remaking Stephen Kings It already.
 
'It' is quite an old film though and would benefit from advances in special effects and a higher budget. Misery isn't as old and really doesn't need a remake, how could it be made better than it is?
