Mirrors and your real image.?

I know it might be weird but at home when i look in the mirror i think "Eh, i don't look that bad" but when i go to school and look in the mirror i feel more like "Eww do i really look like that?" So how do you know which is the real image? xD

You're the same person who you always are. When you are at home, and there are fewer influences, you can view yourself in a better light. But when you are at school, you see yourself in comparison to everyone there. Don't worry - the image at home is the same as at school.

Its the lights. Try looking in natural sun light.
