I had Mirena put in after I had my daughter in August, 2008. The doctor put it in while I was on my period (gross) and I was wondering if maybe she didn't put it in right because of that?
Also, I have NEVER in my life missed a period; only when I was pregnant I missed my period but got back aches, stomach cramps, but no blood.
So, this is the very first time since having Mirena that I have missed a period. This is very rare for me. I had lower back aches and stomache cramps but no blood, not even a drop. I was supposed to get my period on the 4th of Aug. and now (Aug. 11) still nothing.
I have taken 4 pregnancy test (all from the dollar store) and have taken them various times of the day. All negative. Would Mirena make a false negative?
I would just accept the Negative results but I have so many preg. symptoms...including the aches and cramps that I had with my frist baby but no blood, aching breasts (I never have had that during my period), my stomach seems to be expanding but not the rest of me, excessive gas, sometimes i swear i feel kicking, etc.
**I have never gone into the doctor to get my strings checked, nor do I even know how to check them myself**
I want to get a blood test but I can't seem to find time with my job.
If anyone has any answers, I'd really appreciate it!
