overgrew or killed off....? when people say it "took over" their garden, does that mean it overgrew the area it was intended for or killed off all the other plants in the garden to make space for itself?
omg mint propagates like crazy. My mom and I planted some in our garden and in a couple months it was everywhere!! We didn't do anything with the garden for nearly a year because we didn't want to do the work to get rid of the mint plants. If you are going to have mint plants you have to make sure you cut off the flowers before they have a chance to spread their seeds.
