minocycline discoloration

hello everyone! my doctor prescribed me minocycline 100 mg once a day. on my 6th day i started noticing blueish / grayish stains on my gums!! and teeth!! and also the acne lesions on my face are all purple. i started freaking out so i went to her office and she told me to stop taking it immediately.
now she didnt tell me what to do with my gums and teeth. how long is the discolorations going to last? what can i do to make them go away? i need help really bad! my smile is my greatest asset LOL and now im depressed because i dont smile anymore because of the stains :(

wow, only six days and this happened? My son was 18 when he stopped mino after three years on it. He stopped because his acne was cleared and his upper gums were blue. His teeth seemed a bit gray to me, but the dentist didn't see it. The derm saw it though. It took a few months, but it went away.
