The Minoan Civilization was centered around the Isle of Crete. It was not specifically Greek as we understand the term today. The Mycenaean Civilization was Greek as we understand the term, it was also centered on the Greek Peninsula (two different things: the Greeks entered the Greek Peninsula and Asia Minor around one thousand BCE but I believe the Mycenaeans predated that, though they were mainly a Greek people). The Mycenaeans intermarried with the Minoan aristocracy and ended up absorbing the Minoan civilization.
