minimum security military prison?

I have a friend who might soon be going to a military prison. He's not sure where he'll be going, but he is looking at six months in minimum security. Anyone know what life inside is like... recently. Stories from 20 years ago, probably don't apply all that much. So the more recent the knowledge the better!
 
Depends. If he is going to a post correctional facility or if hes going to one of the big three military prisons ie Leavenworth, Charleston, or Miramar. Either way, military prison isn't supposed to be fun. It is not a good place to be.
