Miniature formats & critter pix. If you were to get serious about wildlife work

I think eventually, the future of SLRs will be all full-frame. But if I got to pick, I'd take the full frame. Though, it's not necessary unless you want to do wide-angle stuff. I like the crop my sensor provides me.
 
Until I can afford a really huge lens, APS-C has it's merits. Even though it's cropped, generally there's more mpx, on an APS-C crop, than cropping a full frame down to the same FOV.
Edit: OK, I do know that's now always true, but you do get more bang for the buck at the long end, with an APS-C
