Mini-Review The Song Above You

It's 3:19 long. Elastica had plenty of songs that long haha. But I agree, after listening to it again I'm not really sure where I got that idea from haha...

I'll give it a 7/10. I don't listen to anything like that. I thought it was boring at the beginning and thought the whole song would kinda be like that but it wasn't. she has a nice voice but doesn't really belt out and huge notes. I like a little more passion

Let's get some Wu Tang in this joint!

Not exactly one of my favorites from him, but it was a good cover nonetheless. This type of acoustic soft rock has a big place in my heart, especially JJ. It's something about the guitar man :)...7.5/10.

Appealingly odd if slightly annoying, though it can't match the "wtf is this" quality of their cover of "Money"

@Telephasic Great beat, classic group, I love it.
@Dankrsta Seems like something I'd enjoy on occasion, but not something I'd listen to all the time.

That wasn't really my thing, quite repetitive and I kind of got distracted in the middle and started to do something else. 3/10

"Subtle" is an excellent way to describe that song. There were some decent beats and I liked the vocals, but ultimately there wasn't enough going on for me. Cool video though.
5/10

I'm gonna guess this is a compliment :). This electro something is a duo from the 60s, kind of like 'the 60s' Suicide. Definitely worth checking out.

It's from Big Science (1982). The whole album is great, but O Superman is a stand out. There's also United States Live box set, a recording of her performance with all 'songs' from Big Science and many, many more. Basically spoken word pieces with performance and video art.

Ya know, for an acoustic song that was pretty rad. There wasn't too much to it, which kinda limits it's potential, but I still enjoyed it. Lots of passion in the vocals and the guitar was just enough to keep from getting too cheesy.
7/10

I don't know why but this is not at all what I thought Death in June sounded like. I had imagined them more gothic/industrial for some reason. I like the piano and openness of the track. But the vocals are just ok to me. It actually reminRAB me quite a bit of "Mad World" by Gary Jules, which I love. Anyway, not a bad track but I don't really have a desire to play it again or check out the album it's from. 6/10

Blonde Redhead - "Hated Because of Great Qualities"

solid song, sets the mood. not music i would listen to on a regular basis but I was impressed by the production quality, the vocalist's voice, and how "big" the song sounded.

talk about a crazy ass producer...listen to this song on headphones, very unique sound.
