i just got minecraft prerelease 4 and when i loaded it up and started walking around, i noticed that some of the lakes near my house were freezing up. they never do that and i am nowhere near anywhere thats snowy. i tried to smash the ice blocks but they just keep coming back. is this just a bug or is this always going to happen? have you experienced the same thing?
