Mindless Violence

Hey,

Am in the mood for a bit of mindless violence, after watching Natural Born Killers yesterday I have developed a taste for killing sprees and the like...

Anyone out there got some good suggestions for films of this sort

The obvious choice would be Kill Bill Vol 1 - more mindless killings than you can shake a stick at (and a quality soundtrack - which I am currently listening to).

Another good one is Fargo. Genuis film-making from the Coen's, and whilst it's not an absolute bloodbath, Steve Buscemi's character's (the kinda funny lookin' one) is inspired.

I came in this thread especially to say that. Damn you!

Another that might float your boat is Scrapbook. I warn you though, it's not for the faint of heart.

And failing that, Predator. You can't go wrong with the classics. Ahhh, they don't make them like that anymore.

Might I suggest 'Man Bites Dog'. A spoof documentary about Belgian serial/spree killer.

Easily the most violent film I've ever seen. It's also very funny.

how about......

Reservoir Dogs
Casino
Goodfellas
True Romance

Passion of the Christ contains some of the worst violence scenes I've ever come across......

Can't be a good thing that I have already seen all but 1 of the films mentioned :o
*Checks mental stability*
These films make me laugh so much though... :)

The Doom Generation
Bad Lieutenant
The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover

But go for Ichi the Killer. It's rare that you get mindless violence, and a quality film at the same time.

Ooer - not long seen a screening myself. You didn't happen to be there by any chance ;) :D :) I'd have to second Ichi The Killer - nothing beats it for out and out violence...j'get it...beats it...huh...*nevermind* :(
