:) Loved this show the first time round.
Do you reckon they pick such annoying and over the top contestants deliberately though?.So we can watch their faces as their cash drops through the hole?.:D
 
:) It's great to see them moving the cash,only to see it dissapear down the hole.In the first series,i don't think there was a single contestant that i actually liked.They all seemed to be annoying arseholes.
 
Strangely watchable program that. Remember on it's first run I sat down thinking this is going to be shit (it is to be fair) and was glued to the screen.
 
:) Same here Tom.It's very addictive.Watching the security guys gathering up the huge amounts of hard cash at the bottom of the pit makes it even more so.

Agreed! I like to see them lose the lot tbh! It's a strange show, I've never been so keen to watch the contestants lose so much so quickly. The contestants are horrid and deserve it.
 
:D I agree.I can imagine when they're picking contestants at the auditions.They have to get quite outgoing friendly people.But it seems they've gone too far and pick the kind of people who'd apply for Big Brother.Totally over the top,'look at me' types(mostly).
If you compare The MPD contestants to the ones on The Cube you couldn't get more different.I've found the ones on The Cube to be interesting,funny and most of all you actually will them on to win.Plus,they're older than the ones on TMPD.They all seem to be young(20-30).
There's something wrong with the auditioning process when you actually laugh when they lose all the money!.
 
Indeed.I guess they've been waiting on Davina finishing Big Brother before they could get started on the second mini series.The first series wasn't on for a long run.This second one is much the same.Hard and fast.
 
I thought the show was going to be a major car crash, however I found it mesmerising, I couldn't switch over I wanted to see the moeny go down the chute. SounRAB Crap on paper, but strangly amusing, glad to see it back
