Milk fat?

I developed an intolerance to milk fat about six years ago. Initially I thought it was lactose intolerance, but I realized that I couldn't drink the Lactaid milk unless it was fat free, and eventually figured out that I could drink regular fat free milk. It's not just milk either, I have to buy fat free cheese and yogurt, and I can't tolerate ice cream either. My biggest enemy is cream.
Is this a common thing? Does anyone else have these symptoms?
Could this be symptoms of a larger problem?
Also, I am 20 years old and I have never had red meat in my life, and only had chicken in small quantities after the age of 18. Could the intolerance of milk fat be related to the fact that I have never had any animal fat in meat?
Thanks!
