Military wives opinions on sex life after ur husband comes home from deployment?

my hubby gets bak in lke 2 weeks..after 15 months..in iraq..on r and r he was here for the birth of our son..and we only had sex once..right before i went into labor..it was a bit awkward...and it didnt last long obviously still good but u get my point.lol...but how will it be now..that im not pregnant anymore..will it be awkward? how do i make it so it doesnt feel that way? i just want us to be close again..i want us to feel comfortable as if he never left.. and i wanna make sure he's ok..u know..advice? this is our 1st deployment
thx alot for all your helpful opinions..i will be nervous lol but he tells me he cant wait lol to be with me...so im guessing it will be ok..thx alot guys..
 
I'm sure since he misses you a lot you will have to fight him off you!!! lol!
Just don't push him to have sex if he doesn't want to....but usually they want it of course after being away for so long.
If he doesn't want sex he might just be afraid about if you have healed up down there, etc.
EDIT: It's not a bad or rude answer, so there's no reason why I should be thumbed down at all.
 
Just take your time because time is what is needed. Nothing has to be rushed. Go out have some fun together, flirt, remember you love him, you two got married for a reason and you do not have to jump into bed, warm up to one another and make it fun.
Also get a makeover, take a long bath, do your hair, use perfume and make sure you feel beautiful!! Go to Victorias Secret before he gets home. Good perfume, panties and whatver make you feel liek a million bucks - and want to show it off.
Just tell him your nervous and to work with you on this :) I am sure he will be more than willing!!
 
As a former "just got back from 15 months..." soldier I can say from experience that you will have no problem being close. He will likely not be able to keep his hands off of you.

That being said, IF he is having some underlying problems after his return that are keeping you from being intimate just be supportive and patient. Things will return to normal.
