Military pay is confussing ....explain me this?

you get paid the first and 15th of each month....welll...............some months are longer then others so how does that compute?

for example the pay chart is by month...so lets say you make 2200 a month on the military pay chart

paid for 12 months that equals $26400 but paid every two weeks equals $28600
that's 2200/2 (x) 26

so do they cheat you on pay?

I don't get it?

just trying to figure it out thanks

and ya I know pay dosen't include...free food and board and benefits
