So here is what is going on right now. I want to join the Military. I really and truly do. I want to be a Medic. At first I wanted to be in the Army but everyone said I could do better. That didn't really sway me much. What did was the fact that the Navy trains and puts out the best Medics. which is why the Marines use the Navy's Medics.
That is called going Green side, by the way. Just a little fact. Useless fact, possibly.
Anyhow....
well at first my mom didn't support me at all. She said "Hell no!" and then walked away from me. But then she said as long as I did not join the Army, she would support me. Which is another reason not to join the Army. Strike two for them.
So now I am having some issues. I know that during Boot Camp, you have to cut your hair even if you are a woman and it cannot go past the bottom of the collar of your uniform. People suggested to me that I should get it professionally done before I am shipped off to Boot Camp because a Reception, they will just hack it off. O_O NOT good.
So I will do that. But I am a little confused about some things. like when do you start getting paid? And do they take the expenses for Boot Camp out of that pay check? And after the nine week Boot Camp (P week is really the first week.
I love Google.
) you go to A school, right? Well to be a Medic, do you have to go to college? Or no? So if you have any helpful comments, please do help. I would truly appreciate it.
