I'm in a complicated situation. I have been seeing this guy for almost a year and we recently started getting serious. We've been sleeping together for months now, and always using condoms. I found out last year that I have strains of HPV that cause cervical cancer in women. I have no strains that cause warts or anything. So basically, the strains I have only affect women and nothing happens to men.
So, the guy I'm getting serious with is going to be re enlisting. I haven't told him about my HPV because I figured with condoms, everything is fine (I was going to tell him eventually though). But we both want to start to not use condoms. Please, don't judge our relationship when you answer this question because I know we should always wear condoms no matter what. All I need are answers. All I want to know is if we stop using condoms and he contracts the HPV that doesn't affect him at all, does the military test for this? And if so, do they not allow you to enlist if you have the HPV virus?
I'm very concerned. Please help!!
