Military folks, would you voluntarily go through boot camp again?

I would love to go through boot camp again, just to do it. I am a Marine, and boot was the best experience of my life. Would you go through it all again, just to do it? Would you leave anything out? I might be tempted to skip the classes (dark room + tired recruit = nap time and angry DI lol).

It would be very easy to do it again. The classes are so basic they would bore the pants off me if I went back.

So I would have to say, "No I wouldn't go back".

I made the mistake, when I left boot camp, of saying "I'll never come back here."
Four years later, I was back, as a DI. Did two tours as a DI. The only thing better than going through basic one time is guiding 20 companies through basic training. It was a blast.
The hardest thing about being a DI is keeping a straight face.

I would go back. Knowing that it was all a mind game to weed the less-desirables out and that it wasn't personal, I'd love to go back. But, I'm afraid knowing what I do now, I'd probably get in trouble for a whole lot of smirking and chuckling.

Marines are a truly a group all their own. Though my hubby is Air Force, many of my cousins, and in laws, are Marines. My husband would rather forget boot, but my Marine family members think of it as their life changing moments, and would love to do it over again.
