im looking to become a cop, and im joining the military soon, how do they look at military experience... do they want a minimum of X amoutn of years? or how does it work... im joining the marine reserves and i have an associates degree, right when i get out of boot camp, and go start talking to police stations, r they going to look at my military status and kinda ignore it because ive only went threw boot camp and school of infantry? or will they look at it like any other military experience?
also with only that much experience, will i still get the extra points on the initial police exam?
