Well i was thinking of being in the military as a sniper and i thought this though. If you wear glasses can you go in the army or what?.I've asked my friends they've said you can't wear glasses in the army.Anyone confirm this or so?Big help is appreciated.
Yep i knew it about the laser eye surgery.
I also heard from my friend that you could wear contacts. But don't they check your eyes or something like that?
I know snipers a hard job to do and to get.I know a lot about demolition and studied it a lot.But pretty good if i can get a shot at it.
I'm not color blind, nor do i have contact lenses.I'll try to get some contact lenses.
Oh yeah and i got some pretty good eye sight so i'd probably might get the job for sniper.

my friend just went to army basic training and they gave him glasses.

However, for being a sniper, that is a definite no. It's hard enough to get to be a sniper in the first place. If you have anything that is not exceptional about you, you will not even be considered to be a sniper.

You can wear glasses in the Army. You have to wear them, and not contacts, in Basic Training and on deployments.

Not sure if you can be a sniper though.

Yes, you can wear glasses or have lasik eye surgery

Don't listen to nyah, they allow glasses for snipers, as long as you can be corrected to 20/20 vision.

Requirement 3 of the Scout Sniper school in the Marine Corps:

3. Vision correctable to 20/20 in both eyes (This means glasses and contacts are authorized). Color blindness is discouraged.
