Interesting......I'm at Scott AFB and we don't use decals anymore. Especially, since it's always 100% ID check. Decals don't really serve a purpose anyways.

Most AFB's don't care about the decal anymore... Only the physical card and matching member carrying it...

Great idea IMO

Navy and Marine bases are still in the stone age on most everything...
 
ugh, no kidding. Nothing like trying to come in the gate late at night with a boot PFC on dude with a badge. Lord forbid you have a hot chick on the bike with you, i've been pulled over to check my registration / liscense more than once coming through the gate b/c I had my GF on the back. They make her stand about 20' away while another PFC tries to flirt with her while they harass me.

"You're free to go SSgt, but you can leave the girl here"

"You're not close to being that lucky, son"

I hear him mumble as Im gearing back up "maybe next time i'll give you a ticket" I took a little ride over to talk to his boss the next day. Never really had an issue with being harassed after that.
 
Not entirely true it depends on which command your base falls under. Some are implementing the BRC and ERC curriculums and once completed they have a new decal they want displayed. It sucks even after completing all their requirements they'll bust your balls about not having that sticker. You can have your card in your wallet and they still want that sticker phuckin up your bike. I HATE IT!!
