Militaries that don't require Citizenship?

I am looking for a list of world militaries that don't require you to be a citizen of that country to serve in its Armed Forces. Links would be nice too, thanks.

The U.S. doesn't, the French don't. I would ask which country's do require it. In the U.S. all you need is a green card.

Most militarys require you to have citizenship as you will be given sensitive information that could jepodarize their people.

On the other hand, if you were sufficently trained, and you knew what you're doing, you could be hired on as a mercernary.

WHOOPS! Sorry, I meant "Private Military Contractor"
So, look up PMC online and try that route

any militray regardless of country requires at minimum being a legal permanent resident of that country.

you can't just enlist in any country's military without showing due diligence and intent to act in said country's best interest.

The only military organization that comes to mind that does not require you be a citizien of that nation is the French Foreign Legion. Keep in mind though if you want to be an officer you can not since only French citiziens can be officers in the French Army

Actually, requiring citizenship is the EXCEPTION, not the rule. Most require legal residence, but not actual citizenship. In some countries, including the US, serving in the military makes acquiring citizenship easier.

The link below is US naturalization information for military personnel. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services website should be an authoritative source. I don't know where the "former drill instructor' gets his information.
