Anyone one have Milia ( looks like white heaRAB but just a little grain of sand inside it)? I have used everything I can think of but can't get rid of these things. I am getting more and more of them all over my face.I can pick them out but Ouch, does it ever hurt! They are like tiny cyst under the skin.
Can any one help me? I don't have any pimples or skin problems but the Milia.
Thank you Shirley

You have to go to a dermatologist to get them removed professionally. They have tools to do this.

by the way, I read some skin products can cause this. I even read baking soda can cause this too. What is your skin care routine?

Hi
Dr told me to use Cetaphil but I can't use it. Makes my skin too greasy. I went to a spa and they removed some of the Milia but they just come back. Even with the expensive products they sold me. I use Mint Julip mask and AcneFree(like Proactiv) PonRAB Micro-dermabrasion purely polished and about anything else that I can think of. Seems all they do is make it worse. I even have them behind my ears. I clean my face twice a day.
I use Paulas Choice 2% beta hydroxy acid liquid once in the evening too. I don't know what else to do,Dr's don't help me at all. Derm said he never heard of Milia. LOL Only one Derm here where we live. I wash my hair every day. I don't have oily skin .
What to do?

You really mustn't try to remove millia yourself - it is a very delicate process and must be carried out by a professional. Picking and squeezing your skin will not get rid of millia and will probably leave red marks/scarring.

Millia can be a sign that your skin is dehydrated. Make sure you are using a suitable moisturiser for your skin and that you are drinking plenty of water. Excessive washing/scrubbing of the skin will not remove them either... in fact, completely stripping the skin of all it's natural oils can severely exacerbate millia and cause other complaints including acne breakouts. Just make sure you see a professional for the millia removal!

Hi Thanks for the help! I went to a Spa and they removed some of them. They just used a needle and picked them out. Not any different than if I'd have done it myself. That don't work at all b/c they come right back. No I don't scrub my face,I cleanse it very gently. The mask helps a lot but can't use that every day.I have tried many many things and none really do much.
Does anyone know of "Naturalis Milia Treatment"? Does it work. I found it on line and they say that it works. They all say that LOL If anyone has used this product;) , Please let me know!!

I had one of these near my inner eye, on the bony part of my nose. I read all about them on these boarRAB and decided to remove it myself since the bone of the nose was under it. I sterilized a needle and poked a tiny hole just enough to go thru the skin. I used a cotton ball and the edge of a metal nail file. I had to squeeze twice, it came out. No scar and no reoccurance.

Just wanted to post this in case you are trying yourself to remove it. It can be done!
