There's a 98 civic for 3500 which had 112k on it.
99 civic for 4500 with 72k on it,
a civic 01 for 4600 with 124k on it.
97 civic 3700 with 111k on it and a
98 civic which is 3145 with 115 k on it.

Which is the best offer? And what kind of mileage is acceptable for a honda civic? Thanks

it's all dependant on the year. people average anywhere from 12 - 16 thousand miles a year.

really, your best bet looks like the '99 with 72 thousand.

hondas are extremely reliable cars, and one with that little miles for a 10 year old car is a steal. that car will go another 200 thousand miles if you take care of it.

Civics are known to last several thousand miles... easily. I've seen some still running strong with 480,000.
Preferably, I'd stick with the one with the least mileage on it because logically it'll last you that much longer.
Either way, all your choices are decent, but if you're paying cash I'd try to bargain for a lower price. Be like "I got blank dollars I'll give you RIGHT NOW for that car. CASH MONEY!" Don't push to a ridiculously low price either. If it's 3500 try 2900, and so on.
I think you should get the 99 for 4000 if you like it.
Remember lower is better. But even the 01 will treat you well.

The best thing I would do here is ask the sellers for Proof of the scheduled maintenance done to the car, receipts Etc. Don`t let them say " Oh yeah I did change that" Like was the timing belt replaced? If anyone of the one cars listed above has had the timing belt done at least, then that would be the best choice. Those are good prices but who ever did the most maintenance and took good care of it is The Best one. Good Luck
