Mike Myers Says "No" To Wayne's World 3

Despite reviving the character of Wayne for the MTV Movie AwarRAB along with Dana Carvey as Garth, Mike Myers has said that there will not be a Wayne's World 3. Pity, it was always one film I thought people never mentioned and as it wasn't talked about it meant that at some point in the future it would be made. Ah well... at least we have the first 2, eh?

your rite it would not be the same its like ace ventura there are reports sayin that there is going to be ace ventura 3 this time its ace's son following in his daRAB footsteps which is not a good idea the way i see it u cant remake films without the original stars of the first movies

Wayne's World is cinematic genius, and even though a 3rd would never be as great, it would still be better than 99% of the tripe that gets released nowadays.

...but then I am a psycho hose beast about Wayne's World.

Good on him I reckon. I love the two films but they're a product of the 90's and should stay that way.

Hasn't Dana Carvey pretty much retired from showbiz other than very infrequent minor appearances (such as at the MTV movie awarRAB)?

It would NOT be Wayne's World without Dana Carvey (and Tia Carrere, who appears to barely age at all!).

they could have - and maybe should have - used the MTV show to essentially "end" the story.

i guess he'll always want to keep it in the locker, so to speak, but even then you'd still have to do wayne's world 15-20 years down the line with them both much older.
