Migraines From Cooking Spray?

I got my first bad migraine attack about 5 months ago, right after using some 'Waffle-Off' cooking sprays while making waffle cones at work (at DQ). Ever since then the smell of burning cooking spray, doesn't matter what type, has triggered the start of a migraine. It starts out by me getting a little dizzy, weak, and congested lungs/chest. I can usually stop this by using Ibuprofen or aspirin, getting fresh air, and chewing on something like ice or drinking a lot of water. I've had this happen 6 or so times during the past 5 months, and I don't want another migraine attack. The past two ones I've had lasted 4 days. I start out seeing an aura, getting dizzy and weak, felling congested, and then get a huge headache (also being very sensitive to movement, sight, and sound). The actual headache lasts about 4 hours, then I get very weak to the point where I can almost not stand-up, and I throw-up and everything seems fine. The next 3 days are repeats of the last.
What I am wondering is if I am getting these migraines from the smell of cooking spray, or is it just a psychological problem. I keep on telling my mom about this (I'm 15), and she thinks I'm full of i just to get off work or come home from school.
So is it just a psychological problem, smelling burning cooking spray and inducing myself into getting a migraine?

I am also on no medications, and never really had asthma (although it runs in the family).
