A darker version would be cool - many Japanese series have darker and more mature themes which MMPR could only hint at when it did "dramatic" (it could do it quite well sometimes).

There is 1 episode, where Goldar's voice is totally different, and portrayed by a different actors' voice.

it's one of the early episodes, and I have it on tape somewhere.

I will see if I can get the name of the episode, so you guys can check it out on youtube, if you want.

I tell you something, zyuranger was more violent and disturbing than mighty morphin power rangers.

there are scenes from japanese zyuranger, when green ranger was evil, broke into the megazord, and punched the rangers in the face - you dont see this in the american MMPR.

there is also a scene in zyuranger where Babboo is cooking children in a pot - again you dont see this in the american MMPR.

japanese version alot sicker than the american remake.
