Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (handled so badly)

I used to say the MegazorRAB looked like Transformers toys or something :p
It's fascinating watching the Japanese opening, it's totally different! The White Ranger is about 5 years old in the Japanese version, Jason Frank (Tommy) would kick his ass :p
I heard that at some points they actually ran out of Super Sentai footage so the US producers contacted the Japanese makers and had them make more footage for them :)
Did you already say that? Ooops :o
The Japanese Pink Ranger is a cutie pie! :)

I'll watch an episode later.

Maybe Kat and Tommy ended up together in later seasons as they had things in common :) They both started out as evil (I think) before crossing over to good. Though rewatching Kat's introduction arc it isn't made clear where she came from? She appears to be a normal person who was
a) kidnapped (I guess?)
b) Given powers of transformation (!)
c) Made to forget her past as a good person after she was possessed.

Kim was hot but Kat was maybe hotter, I loved her Aussie accent :)

If I'm honest, I'm not sure that Tommy exactly had a personality! It's hard to put a finger of his character traits because most of his storylines were based around him gaining powers/losing his powers/gaining new powers, rather than any specific development such as Kim or Billy got.

He was (is) still hot as hell though!

Well Jason did come back eventually just as a different type or ranger lol, I guess they got more time to flesh out Tommy, Kimberly and Billy's characters, I was disapointed when i saw the movie that Jason, Zack and Trini weren't in it, I found out that they were going to be in it but due to the whole money thing they weren't able to.

Trini was really quite beautiful - so sad to have lost her actress in 2001.

There does seem to be a sense online that JDF is a bit of an arse - bit of a chip on his shoulder, maybe?

The introduction of Kat was good too (maybe similar?), I also liked Kim as well as Kat ;)
Tommy's reveal as the White Ranger was brilliant :)

Don't get me started on Kat and the whole Kimberley-breaking-up-with-Tommy-by letter story arc! Makes my blood boil!!

There's lots of good stuff on YouTube, but it would just be so nice to sit back with a DVD and watch the whole of MMPR from the start...

It's weird seeing how the actors look now. Austin St John (Jason) whacked on the weight. Jason David Frank (Tommy) is still in great shape, but he's all boyband hair and big tattoos. And I'm totally still perving over how they looked in the 90s.

I just thought about the Zeo season (I'm sure I saw some of it), it was kinda neat to reverse the Jason/Tommy thing so Tommy was the leader of the group but Jason was the more powerful Gold ranger and he could lose his powers, like Tommy did as the Green/White Ranger. So it was the opposite of the dynamic in MMPR,

Time flies doesnt it :D I think she joined in 1995 or so but she was actually a Ranger for the shortest amount of time apparently.
If only I could go back to 1995/6 and be around the same age as her then.. :)
IMDB said she's a fitness instructor now.
Tommy wouldn't be much older - he'd be about 37 now
He was in Power Rangers Dino Thunder as well - wonder what he's doing now?
