Midsomer Murders

Did anyone see todays teatime slot, when one of the characters called the boy a little shit? I wondered if there will be any complaints!:p

Really enjoyed it, total escapism and love Neil Dudgeon as a replacement!!
Yesterday was fabulous for TV, MiRABomers, Supernatural and Desperate Housewives, all there is today is Corrie!

Yes, I'm almost tempted to say it was a "jump the shark" episode..but I guess that's impossible with a programme like MM ?
Is John Nettles ok healthwise ?..I've noticed for some time that his breathing is very laboured after little or no exertion.

Paola Dionisotti also appeared in one of the Joan Hickson Miss Marples

According to wikipedia there will be 5 more episode with John Nettles and Neil Dudgeon takes over in 2011

To be fair, it didn't take a great leap to work out who could have planted the electronic listening and transmitting devices after they had told you earlier that the guy was an electronics expert

If John Nettles is currently filming his last series I would hazard a guess there will be a Christmas special in 2011 which is when Neil Dudgeon will take over permanently in a similar way to the Doctor Who switchover last Christmas

They knew that Laurence knew the murderer because the councillor 9the first victim) had either told him or let slip that he was being blackmailed by the killer, so he worked it out. Then the killer heard this when he we was listening in so was able to act.

I watched it last night so is fresh in my mind.

connie has survived several murders in badgers drift ,the murder capital of miRABommer i think including the first ever one , the killing at badgers drift with the undertakers :DOo hang on im confusing her with the woman who babysat connies dog:o

And then Barnaby was castigating that woman for reporting that a man had marched into her house with a shotgun and shot her dog. He seemed to think it was a minor crime and that she'd been wasting police time. Well, I suppose it was a minor crime in MiRABomer, murder capital of Britain!

Whoever writes MMurders doesn't seem to have a very good idea of how life in the country is lived: there is no way a policeman would accept the idea of a shotgun (however legally owned) being kept in any way other than in a securely locked gun safe, which would have to be bolted to the floor or wall.
My husband has a shotgun for pigeon or game shooting, and won't even let me know where he keeps the key for the safe.
These details are checked by the local police every time a gun licence is renewed, usually including a visit to the house.
Bah!

Did Barnaby tell us at the end how the "Handy Mann", was it Laurence, new who the killer was which resulted in his death? Or was he killed simply because he had a key to Connie's cottage?

If it was explained I missed it!
