I'm trying to arrange music in composition software, which I export into midi format to play through my keyboard. The reason being is that my keyboard's midi playback sounds much more realistic than my computer. I then record off of my keyboard's regular audio jack to wav format so that it sounds much more lifelike than a midi does.
The problem I'm having is when it comes to the "Sweet" voices on my keyboard. There are several voices that were sampled from actual instruments that on the keyboard sound dead like a professional playing a flute, trumpet, etc... instead of the 'keyboardy' electronic version that the regular voices offer.
When I try to force a program change to that voice and export the midi onto the keyboard, it still just goes back to the regular version of the instrument instead of the sweet voice. I need to figure out how to force it to use the sweet voices... in the manual for they keyboard I have the MSB, LSB, and program change settings for each voice but I have no knowledge of how to apply that to make it work and play that darned midi... because I'm just not talented enough to play these complex arrangements by hand.
HELP!
