I am currently working on my own project for solo jazz piano. I am totally new to music technology (I am a performer) so I would like to ask few questions about MIDI:
1. I used a P85 Yamaha keyboard to record. Is the sound quality the same when I transfer it to my computer? (Does it still reflect exactly what I heard on my keyboard.) If not, is there any way to record?( Piano solo)
2. How do pianists make their own record? ( Assumed that they are all soloist, which eliminates the need for other instruments)
