So, I hooked my keyboard (Yamaha YPT-410, in case you were wondering) into my computer, installed the drivers, blah-blah-blah. I opened up Mixcraft to record a piano track. Fine. i found it a little weird that after I recorded myself playing, the sound came out of the piano instead of my laptop, but whatever. Not a huge deal. Finally, I go to save my recording as an MP3 file, and it gives me the message: "You are trying to render or burn a project that contains external MIDI synthesizers. External audio synthesizer audio does not go through Mixcraft and the software is not able to mix or burn it. You may be able to record the audio on to a new Audio Track, followed by muting the original tracks and then burning or rendering."
How can I make it so that the audio can be picked up by Mixcraft, or how can I record the track as an Audio Track rather than as a Virtual Instrument Track?
