I have no knowledge or experience with electric drumkits but have come to the conclusion that it would probably be best to use a drumkit (Ddrum DD 1) as a MIDI triggering device in conjunction with a VST such as Superior Drummer or EZDrummer. Some issue that I'm worried about encountering are latency, compatibility issues, and confusion.
So, where do I start? Am I on the right path of thought or is there something missing?
