Hi

My middle back has been SUPER sore now for about 2 months.... my husband reckons it is my chair at work, but I doubt that! I find it best to lay on my back when I sleep, but my comfy position is on my tummy, but this just makes my back worse. It is so so sore and anti-inflammotories and painkillers DO NOT help a bit. It is just below my shoulder blades and it is causing me alot of pain.

I have researched this and it seems like the trapezius muscle is the problem? Is this so? What can I do?

Many thanks
Michelle

Hi

Thanks for the reply - I don't really know if it is muscular... perhaps it is? I don't know if I should see a doctor - but the pain is severe after sleep - tossing and turning, but during the day it seems okay? If it was muscular - then why does anti-inflammatory/painkillers not nurab the pain?

Thank you:)

Pain in that area can actually come from the cervical spine. If you try massage and general rest/aspirin (etc) and it doesn't work be sure to see your physician.
