Middle Ages History buffs - I need a climax for my story?

I am writing a story set in 1352 during the black plague. But although I have all the characters and settings and a little of their daily lives (I have created my own manor) I really don't have a climax. Could someone give me some common problems (or your own origianl problems) in that time period during the feudal system in England.

the real problem then was obviously the black plague. if your book has alot based on that, one should catch the black plague and the others have to decide to kick them out of the manor let them stay... just a suggestion

Paying rent on the land you farm could be difficult. Love between two classes could be climactic. The end of the plague could also be climactic.

you could make it like a Romeo and Juliet ending! Ok, so a poor female servant (serf) could fall for the affluent, handsome landlord, but as they are united for the first time, the guy finds out that he has the bubonic (black) plague and they must be seperated.

I think that would be really sad/sweet at the same time!
