If you are a doctor or a nurse that would be greatly appreciated, but anyone with any knowledge, experience or advice is awesome too.
I am 20 years old have been on birth control for about 3 years now, tri-cyclen lo to be exact, and all is going well, I haven't experienced any side effects really.
However, these past few months I have been spotting/minor bleeding mid month, randomly. There have been times when I have messed up my pills pretty badly causing me to spot, but not in awhile. Since the spotting started I have made sure to take my pills perfectly, at the same time every night, give or take an hour, 10pm is usually my time, and one time I forgot and took it the next morning, thats it.
Sometimes I have crapping in my abdomen, along with the spotting, and I am starting to worry that it is cervical cancer. I do not have HPV, or any other STDs. My great grandmother died from Ovarian cancer...not sure if that has anything to do with it...
I am scared. I know I should see a doctor, I will. I just want some advice first. Is it normal? Since I have been on the pill for quite some time, I think my body would be adjusted by now...I know mid month bleeding is okay when you are adjusting, but not anymore...
I have been sexually active, but since this whole debacle, I have put a stop to that for a bit just so I could 100% rule out implantation bleeding and all that jazz.
But I have ALWAYS used a condom.

Just any symptoms of cervical cancer or anything else that could be causing this would be helpful.
