microsoft word not working on mac?

i have had microsoft student package for a while now and todayit started not working. I created a subfolder on my dock to free up some space and it had powerpoint, entourage, word and excel in one and when i tried starting any of the programs i continuously get the error message saying "the application Microsoft Word quit unexpectedly. Mac OS X and other applications are not affected. Click relaunch to launch the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to appl.e

i sent a report to apple for every program but nothing is working still and i dont understand why it is not

any help?
