Microsoft Word 2007 Brochure?

So i got the template from going to NEW and downloading and i have made my brochure with everything i want in it. Only problem is, i have some background colour which was from one of the tools for it. When i go to print it out, it wont print out the background colour, only the photos, colour of text etc... How do i print it out so i get my background colour aswell?
