in my unbias experience, ps3 runs flawless for me wireless, xbox at my good friend's house lags sometimes and is hardwired. not to mention its loaded with a bunch of annoying ass 10 year olds. i see no reason why live is any better than PS online. it does nothing. youre paying for something that should be free.

The leader bards are updated everytime you finish doing the laps, and your best time goes into this leaderboard for every car
Also, when looking at the leaderboard, you can check the replay video of the top 5 of every cathegory. and it has like a 3 seconds loading sequence between when you press the button and the lag-free video is played in 1080p

Xbox live is better at doing what? We need specifics. Please go into more depth as to what you mean by this.

And downloading content? Whoever said a ps3 couldnt do this? You can go on the net and browse/download whatever the hell you want.

Sure, the service isn't out yet, but we all know right now that it wouldn't live up to Xbox Live.
But Nintendo might pull a rabbit out of the hat at the last minute and surprise us all, but I doubt it.
I just hate this people who go nuts over the friend codes. You just have one Wii Code. Pokemon Battle Revolution has a friend code (just for DS compatibility) and everyone goes nuts. Look at Elebits after all. It has WC24 support, allows your to share stuff with your friends, and uses the Wii Code.

does anyone remember Live when it first came out? It had nothing either...
Plus Sony's Online setup is WAY more mature/better looking than Lives clusterfuck 1 of 176 list you have to scroll thru. Sonys shit looks like a fucking webstore - hell looks kinda iTune-ish - has way more room to grow and continue to look good/well laid out
