How'd it work out for you? I know it sucks to be sitting around and not able to bend or lift or whatever, but take your time to recover and follow all the doctor's orders (I'm sure you haven't heard that before
). Hope yours is successful! How big is your scar? Mine turned out being larger than I'd anticipated (about 3-4").
I'm doing better every week. After I do some physical stuff like PT, mowing the lawn, or chasing my nephews around the house, I definitely feel sore the next day. It doesnt even feel like muscle soreness, like when you lift until failure for an hour or two at the gym. It's my leg that feels sore, which freaked me out a little bit. It wasn't the same pain as before surgery, but the fact that it was in my hip & calf got me worried, and the fact that I was pain free for the first couple weeks. If that happens to you, don't let it get you worried like it got me. I still get sore, but each week its less than the week before. Things get irritated and tight and such. With the exception of cold medicine (also thanks to the nephews), I haven't taken anything for about 2 weeks now, and even then it was just Aleve.
