I enjoyed Micmacs. Dany Boon is well-suited to the main role, he has that air of quiet despair that also worked so well in Bienvenu chez les Ch'tis, and the film is great to look at with even the grubbiest rubbish tip bathed in a golden glow.
However... in several scenes we see close-ups of Boon's watch, which appears (to my dodgy eyes) to be called something like "Africain". It's a nice watch - does anyone know if it's a well-known French brand or is it an antique, or maybe made for the film?
