what lie? that under clinton the country was the most prosperous since the truman era? and that bush's irresponsible policies and completely retarded legislation curbed that shit real quick? ill retract the surplus statement, i only brought it up because i remeraber the political debate where bush was arguing how he was going to spend it. The country was "on-track" to eliminating the debt it wasnt completely gone. That doesnt change the fact that bush policies were designed as handouts to big money and had no interest in helping out the general public
